When did you join AGDRC?

I joined the club last month to be a part of the Jumping Team

What horse(s) do you currently own or ride?

I have 5 horses, my main man and event horse is Ardent Buck (a thoroughbred ex racehorse). I also have another little ex racer mare Vera, my show jumper Bridget who has just bred me the most wonderful colt foal, Bert, who I am hoping to qualify for Burghley Young Horse when he is old enough. I then also have my retired mare Tilley who I have had for 15 years.

What are you most excited about with regards to being a member of the club?

I am very excited to compete at Hickstead in a couple of weeks and am really hoping to make the Blenheim Eventer Challenge Team!

What riders influence you?

Hannah Francis and Jonty Evans are my biggest inspiration

Do you have any "pre-game" rituals?

I get very bad nerves before an event, my pre-game plan is always to remind myself there is no other horse I'd rather be tackling the course with than my amazing boy!

What do you consider to be your equestrian career highlight?

My highlight so far was completing my Wobbleberry Challenge last year at the Hannah Francis ODE and coming second, and also representing Aspley Guise & District Riding Club at Blenheim last year.

Anything else we should know about you/your horse(s)?

I am so very lucky to have my amazing wonder pony Buck, I cannot sit on his back without the biggest smile on my face, he is my absolute horse of a life time! Buck and I are aiming to be the first Wobbleberry partnership to reach 1*! You can follow our journey and all our highs and lows on our Facebook blog - Wobbleberry to One Star
