When did you start riding?

Age 10 at a riding school in Liverpool where the ponies went round nose to tail on right rein as a military drill ride.

 

When did you join AGDRC?

About 1997. Amanda Wood (sadly no longer alive) recommended it as the Club had just been to HOYS with the Quadrillre and everyone was really enthusiastic about the Club.

 

What horse(s) do you currently own or ride?

Donzento W

 

What equestrian activities do you do?

Dressage - BD including DTM and used to event.

 

Do you have a horsey goal or aspiration?

Not disgrace Donald and I at Grand Prix!

 

What are you most excited about with regards to being a member of the club?

So much happening - lots of fab trainers and lovely people being encouraging.

 

What riders influence you?

Charlotte and Carl of course ! But locally, our own Shirley Rixon is a great inspiration!

 

What do you consider to be your equestrian career highlight?

Still to be achieved! But this year qualifying at Elementary DTM at the Riding Club DTM qualifiers and going to Bury Farm at the end of September for the Championships

LOCATION

We have a wide membership base: from Northampton down to Hemel Hempstead, and from Bedford across to Banbury - and everywhere in between. Our training and events are held all over Area 7, mainly covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
