Your Committee

The AG&DRC committee is dedicated and hardworking. Our aim is to run the Club efficiently and effectively to serve the members - and have some fun along the way.

Get in touch if you have questions about any aspect of the Club, including new ideas. You will see the committee members at most competitions and clinics. Our names and photos below will help you recognise us - feel free to have a chat.

Philippa started riding when she was teeny-tiny!! She currently owns Hughie - a 17hh ISH. Philippa joined the club originally decades ago, but more recently came back in 2018 when she got back into competing after a 20 year break. She joined the committee in August 2019. Philippa is hoping to redo the Wobbleberry Challenge in 2020 when her and Hugh have both finished rehab!

Sarah started riding as a young girl and now has 3 horses: Herbie, Theo and Beth. Sarah is primarily a show jumper, though she also loves XC - she wants to try her hand as an eventer. Her goal is to jump around bigger BSJA tracks but if she gets the eventing bug that may change! She joined AGDRC in early 2018 and the committee in June 2018.

Mandy started riding age 5 and now has 2 TBs. One she is retraining and one her daughter rides. She also has her daughter's first pony, now 25, and her granddaughter's lead rein Welshie. She hacks and competes at unaffiliated dressage and would like to improve her riding. She became a member of AGDRC around 2003, due to the club being local to her and its dressage focus at the time. She joined the committee in 2018.

Lauren started riding at the age of 8. She currently has an ISH called Harry. Lauren joined the club in 2016 to take part in the dressage series, later joining the committee during late 2018. Lauren is a Dressage rider and she would love to progress up the levels in dressage.

Tina started riding at 4 years old, but had a 15 year break. She joined the club in 2018 to meet like-minded people, and joined the committee in 2020. She currently owns Peggy, Gosh and Dixie. Tina is a keen show jumper and eventer, but also part-takes in dressage.

Sarah started riding at 4 years old. She moved to MK, and didn't know many people locally. She found AGDRC clinics were always friendly and encouraging. Sarah owns Steve - a 16.1 grey ISH. He was a wedding present to herself in June 2019. Sarah likes to do a bit of everything. She'd love to ride around a BE Novice. She joined the committee in 2019.

Poppy joined AGDRC in 2018 because of the opportunities and the friendliness. She joined the committee in July 2019 as she is interested to work towards how the club can improve. She has been riding since she was about 3 years old. She currently owns a young mare called Bella who she backed herself and is producing to event. She also has the ride on a lovely gelding called Dudley who's forte is Show Jumping!

Danni started riding at the age of 6 and currently owns 5 horses: Evie, Sienna, Louie, Mia and Ears. She has completed a BSc Hons degree in psychology and is a BHS Accredited L3 Coach with a UKCC L2. She has 10 years coaching experience and works with disadvantaged children once a week. She joined AGDRC in 2017 (and became Safeguarding Officer in autumn 2018).

Nikki started riding when she was about 5 years old, and joined the club in 2018 when she moved to the area. She currently owns her homebred horse, Tia, a 16.1 Selle Francais x ISH. They are both keen show jumpers and eventers - and would love to get back to affiliated show jumping! Having met a great group of people through the club teams, she's excited about the team events. She joined the committee in 2020.

Helen started riding at approximately 7 years old, joining Aspley Guise in 2018. She currently owns 2 horses - Angelo and Herbie! And on Angelo, she is a keen show jumper and eventer - aiming to go up the levels BE. She joined the committee in 2020.

Tracey started riding when she was 4 years old. She joined Aspley Guise when she was a child, took a break and then rejoined us again in 2019 - joining the committee in 2020. She currently owns Pollyanna Steele - an ex-racer who she is training in Dressage.
