When did you start riding?
I started riding about 5 years ago
When did you join AGDRC?
I joined the club last year, in 2018, as I wanted to try something different and more advanced that local unaffiliated shows. I also wanted to experience competing as a team at different events
What horse(s) do you currently own or ride?
I ride my own horse, Malibu, but also have Penny and Hope who are ridden by my mum and sister
What equestrian activities do you do?
I take part in Show Jumping, Dressage, Cross Country and just general day-to-day exercising
Do you have a horsey goal or aspiration?
I'd love to compete to a high standard of Show Jumping!
What are you most excited about with regards to being a member of the club?
I'm most excited about being part of a team, not just for competing but also building relationships!
What riders influence you?
I'm most influenced by my mum as I wouldn't be where I am without her, and also my instructor Yvonne!
Do you have any "pre-game" rituals?
Just focussing on being calm and knowing thoroughly what me and Malibu have to do
What do you consider to be your equestrian career highlight?
That would have to be winning a class at the Chiltern and Thames/GBRider. Also having the opportunity to break several ponies in which helped advance my riding ability
